University of Cambridge
2003
I hold a masters degree (MEng) in Electrical and Information Sciences (Merit & Project Distinction) and a bachelors degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, UK. Following my graduation, I spent a year working for the Department of Engineering designing, developing, and launching an innovative new e-learning platform to teach STEM.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, gaming, travel, and theater. I’m a theme park enthusiast and a fan of the emerging blend of digital and physical experiences in immersive entertainment.
I always knew I wanted to combine art and technology in a way that helped inform and entertain. From a young age, I loved creating—be that films, games, or elaborate models of theme park rides. So I knew that a career combining media and technology would be a perfect fit. That’s what I specialized in during my engineering degree, where I focussed on researching, creating, testing, and iterating on technology approaches that made a real impact for teachers and students. I’ve been passionate about building on that experience and approach ever since.
